Inspiration Part I

Different kinds of paper and wrappings...

Maybe we could do some sort of pop-up for the letter/card...

This reminded me of those little bags you use for gym clothes as a kid... Could be used as some sort of backpack-type bag...

Calendars are always good, especially ones that can be used year after year...

This is more of an expensive idea, but maybe we could wrap cheap disposable cameras in a personailzed paper (with our grad show logo)

Pieces from the grad show, a different on on each square, or just the logo in different colours on each side

Using old computer parts, and turning them into works of art

Putting our logo into cheap kaleidoscopes, you can buy them at party stores in multiple packs, and think you can replace the picture inside...?

These are super cheap and easy to make, and we can silkscreen, or print our grad show stuff onto the cover

Puzzles?

An mp3 player/cell phone holder, silkscreened by us... Doesn't take up much fabric, and again, really simple pattern and probably inexpensive to make, depending on the fabric...

Silkscreened pillows...

Ecojot

this is a paper company that i've been seeing around everywhere, if they could donate small notepads, we could use them as giveaways.

Another Idea

here's another idea for a student related give-away, that can go along with our thank you package. each student could draw/design/photograph an image of themselves or something that is significant to them, and their contact info and images of their work can be on the back. we can print them off, cut them out and then create the box with the thank you note on top.

Some more ideas

I saw this randomly while surfing the net:

i like the envelope and the idea of a small package or some sort.

this is a nice idea as well. if we can't get enough donations for whatever reason, it might be nice to make cookies with the branding colours/images/logos etc.

Some more ideas

these are from a book called 1000 Greetings. more images can be found in the digital locker.

this is the book cover.

maybe the thank you letter can be the packaging for something.

this give-away is interesting, cheap and useful.

part of the give away may include some info about students/contact info etc.

Some interesting images

so cute =D

an ambigram, which can be read from both sides.

if only all streets had these... traffic would be less stressful.
