I just realized this one says 'absolutely black and white' but I was just talking about the design itself (before it's printed), so that it can be put on the screen easily. We can use whatever colours we want (one at a time, though).

Design Concepts: The rest of them
The other thank you items I just did a little work on, so here they are.
This is just for the bag. I'm not really set on the bag right now. I think that the bag is great for holding the thank you item, but it does not work well as a thank you item for industry by itself.
This is for the postcard booklet idea. We can do a wrap piece that goes around, or we can just have the booklet. Now that we have that binding machine at York, I think this might work quite well.
Another idea that Jaimie helped spark was the idea of a business card sized booklet that contains everyone's info. I like that idea, but I've changed it slightly, into a flip-book. So the photos we took a few weeks ago can be used for this, and everyone's contact info will be on each card. The logo is on the images and as one flips through the booklet, the logo moves and bounces around the images. Here is a sketch and some images of flip-books.

This is an alternative to the USB. I really like the idea of packaging the CD. The CD is also way cheaper and way easier to get, so maybe it is a good idea.
This is a sketch of the idea. The CD would be inside a card stock sleeve that is designed to look like a floppy disk. It can be a really old school one (like the one below the sketch image), or it can be slightly more recent (like the last image in this post).

Here are just some ideas on how to package the USB and it could also apply to the disposable camera, and other items.
We could use the logo to make wrapping paper for the items. Or it can also be decorative paper that is used to fold the boxes. (i.e. we can print our design and then use it to fold boxes, like those nice origami ones below)
A matchbox format might work well with the USB.

Design Concepts: Buttons
So... I've done some work on the design and concepts for the buttons. One idea was to use the photos that everyone submitted to graphics for the website, and to make buttons out of those. We could have the website and a tagline along the side of the button (like the image below of Jenson's lovely button from last year). The buttons would then be attached to a card that either has a thank you message on the front or on the back. Here are some of the ideas.
